I am an Independent Baptist Evangelist who stands unashamedly and unapologetically for the never changing truths of God's Word. I seek to reach as many people as possible in my "...Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth" with the life changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I will preach messages are timely, relevant, practical, hard-hitting and Biblical.
I believe in New Testament Ecclesiastical separation and have no confidence in "ecumenical evangelism". I am not a member of any convention or association. I am a member of Berean Baptist Church, a local Fundamental Independent Baptist church in Winston-Salem, NC where Dr. Ron Baity is the pastor. I have served in positions of responsibility for the last 20 years, such as Lay Youth Director, Teen Sunday School teacher, bus captain, soloist and choir member. I am available for meetings in churches, camps and colleges that are of like faith and practice.
I do not in any way support the modern Contemporary movement in today's churches. I will not hold meetings where I feel I have to compromise my convictions just to attract a crowd. No matter how large the event is, I will not participate in meetings that promote and glorify hard-core contemporary music. If I am approached with these offers I will always graciously but firmly decline.
There is no set fee for me to come to a church. I do not come to be a burden; I seek only to be a blessing. Maranatha Evangelistic Ministry is a faith based ministry, and you will not hear me asking for money during the meeting. I believe that when God calls a man he will supply for the ministry.
When I, and sometimes my wife Maggie, travel it would be much more conducive to have a hotel room than someone's home. If the church has a prophets chamber, that is fine as well. NOTE: If I am traveling alone and am placed in a home, please ensure that it is not one that would compromise or jeopardize my testimony.
I feel that the pastor should be in full control of the meeting. I will not come in and “take charge.” I will not make demands of the Pastor or his people. I preach as I am directed by the Holy Spirit and I serve as I am directed by the Pastor. I will gladly preach, teach, counsel, visit and whatever else needs to be done. However, there are times when I have work that must be done in support for the ministry while on the road and will need some free time to do that as well.
Meals are at the discretion of the Pastor.
